Thousands of union workers joined protesters marching through the Financial District Wednesday for Occupy Wall Street’s largest rally yet against “corporate greed.”
The march was mostly peaceful - until after nightfall, when scuffles erupted and some of the younger demonstrators were arrested when they tried to storm barricades blocking them from Wall Street and the Stock Exchange….

We all marched in solidarity against corporatocracy, war, the Federal reserve, congress, GMO foods, pollution, greed… and so many, many other reasons to get up off your ass and occupy everything. Let your voice be heard.
Union workers and community members impacted by the economic crisis have been demanding that Wall Street and the wealthiest New Yorker’s pay their fair share of taxes.
Let’s march down to Wall Street to welcome the protesters and show the faces of New Yorkers hardest hit by corporate greed.
